MeetOnCam earns money through affiliate partnerships with some of the platforms we review. This page explains how that works, what it means for you, and how it does and does not affect what we write.

What affiliate links are

An affiliate link is a tracked link. When you click one and sign up or make a purchase on a partner platform, we may receive a commission from that platform. The price you pay is the same as if you went directly. You pay nothing extra.

Which platforms we work with

We have affiliate arrangements with several platforms we cover, including Jerkmate and others listed on this site. Not every platform we mention has an affiliate deal. Some we cover because they are genuinely worth knowing about, full stop.

Does this affect our reviews?

No. Commissions do not buy rankings or positive coverage. A platform we earn from can still get a low score if it deserves one. A platform with no deal can sit at the top of a comparison if it is the best option for that use case. The way we evaluate platforms is explained in detail on the How We Rank page.

We do tend to recommend Jerkmate when it is a genuine fit. It is our main commercial partner and it consistently performs well in our testing. We call this out rather than hide it.

This disclosure is made in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We are required to tell you about material connections between us and the products we discuss. This page is that disclosure.
