Privacy Policy

MeetOnCam is an editorial review and comparison site for third-party live cam platforms. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights.

By using this site you confirm you are 18 years of age or older. This site is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

What we collect and why

Analytics data. When you visit the site, our analytics tools collect IP-derived location (country and city level), device type, browser and operating system, pages viewed, referral source, and session duration. This data is used in aggregate to help us understand how the site is used and improve it. We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Ahrefs web analytics for this purpose.

Contact form submissions. If you contact us via the contact page, we receive your name, email address, and the message you send. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.

Affiliate click data. When you click an outbound affiliate link, that click may be logged by the affiliate network or destination platform to attribute referrals and calculate any commission owed. See our Cookie Policy for detail on the cookies this sets.

Who we share data with

We share data with the following third parties, only to the extent necessary for the services they provide:

We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with any party not listed above except where required by law.

How long we keep data

Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the respective platforms (typically 14 months for GA4 by default). Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Affiliate click data is retained by the affiliate networks under their own policies.

Third-party links

This site links to third-party platforms. Once you click through to another site, their privacy policy governs, not this one. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA (California). These may include the right to access data we hold about you, request its deletion, or opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@meetoncam.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
